Our space is an essential ingredient to our thriving. This is a place where we come to be nourished, charge our batteries and dream big. Space is sacred and creative. The more TLC you infuse into your space, the more you’ll feel nourished, uplifted and supported by it. 

Imagine coming home and getting an instant burst of calm, loving, sweet energy. Picture yourself being able to fully relax, surrender, dream, create and be inspired by your space. Having a space that lifts your energy will 10x the way you thrive in all areas of your life. Use these 3 simple yet profound practices to turn your space into a haven of relaxation and bliss … 

*Sage it up

Grab some beautiful sage to soak your home in good ju-ju. Take time one afternoon to light it up and walk around your space – going into each and every corner – blessing your home, setting powerful intentions and giving thanks for all the ways it supports you. Savor in the sweetness of blessing your space. Bless the floors, the windows, the nooks and crannies.

Speak some powerful intentions for how you’d like to experience yourself being within the space. Perhaps something like My intention is to feel relaxed, inspired and in the flow each time I step into this room. Or My intention is to have this space be filled with passion, playfulness, romance and connection. Give yourself time to really think about what each room represents for you. Consider your relationships, business, health, spirituality and more. You may notice immediate benefits from taking time to dive into this practice, as you’ll start feeling even more supported energetically each time you are in that particular area.

Lastly, place your awareness on your gratitude for this space. Give thanks for all the ways this space supports your wellbeing and thriving. Notice how the space holds your favorite things and is a sanctuary for you in each moment. Giving thanks for this space will add a beautiful energy that will radiate out into all your things and infuse your home with a loving, joyful, blessed glow. 

*Find a scent you love and put it in every room

A big part of relaxation is about tapping into your senses. One of my favorite ways to get grounded and quickly relax is to light my favorite scent. Think for a moment about a smell you love, that offers you a calm and peaceful reminder. Imagine filling your space with that smell and having it dance through all the places in your home! Spend time going and finding that scent. It could be in a candle, incense or essential oil. Find a way to bring that scent to each room in your home. Allow yourself to enjoy this smell as often as possible. Perhaps you create a ritual where you light that candle each morning before you go off to work. Or maybe you enjoy it after a delicious shower. Find a way to work it into your daily routine, so you can get used to smelling that smell and becoming more and more relaxed in your home. Enjoy, as this will bring you a little extra dose of peace and nourishment during your day. 

*Bring nature in 

Go out into nature and find something to bring back to your space. You can take a trip to the beach and collect some beautiful rocks and stones. You could take a hike to collect some beautiful branches or leaves. Where ever you go is perfect. Just find something that reminds you of a place that you love. Get creative around how you’ll bring these items into your space. Perhaps you put the rocks into a gorgeous vase in your bedroom or maybe you place the leaves around the rim of your bathtub. Be playful and enjoy dreaming about where these items can add value, bring you joy and transport you back to the moment you found them. I have a feeling you’ll love glancing over and seeing these sweet 

Use these practices to nourish and nurture your space. The more you fill your space with love, the more will be available to you in all you do. You’ll start to notice that you’re able to relax much more quickly and sink into a deeper level of grace and ease. Your home will become a sanctuary for you to relax, unwind and fully appreciate the beauty of your life and of yourself.
